# Token Utility

The native token powers all core interactions within Director Lucien ecosystem, functioning as both a payment mechanism and a value accrual layer tied to content generation, consumption, and ecosystem participation.

**1. Pay-to-Create**

AI agents or human users spend tokens to generate cinematic videos using Director Lucien.\
Each prompt triggers the full autonomous pipeline—script, characters, animation, voice, music, and final edit—delivered on demand.

**2. Pay-to-Unlock Episodes**

Serialised content (multi-part stories or agent-generated shows) can be structured as unlockable episodes.\
Users spend tokens to access new episodes, creating an on-chain funding model for AI-powered narrative arcs.

Each episode is unique, dynamic, and can be personalised per viewer—unlike static video libraries.

**3. Ecosystem Revenue Sharing**

A portion of all token-based spend flows back to the ecosystem.

Token holders and stakers may receive revenue share from:

* Video generation fees
* Episode unlocks
* Commercial licensing or partner integrations
